I attended viticulture classes at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for two years and planted a 20-acre vineyard on my property in 2000. I have attended countless seminars on wine and grapes and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Central Coast Vineyard Team. My son attended public schools in Paso Robles from kindergarten through high school graduation. I volunteered in the schools throughout those years and am familiar with many of the schools, their teachers and their administrators. I'm a firm believer in giving back to the great community in which I live. I am a member of the Paso Robles Rotary and participate in many of their community service activities, including bell-ringing for the Salvation Army, community clean-up, assistance at the annual invitational track meet and participation on the Winemakers Cook-Off Committee.
